Places to avoid

This is a section for establishments that openly promote religion:

National Chains
Chick-fil-a
In-n-Out Burger
Alaska Airlines (include bible quotes with meals)
Forever 21 (puts John 3:16 on their tags)
Country Bob's sauces (look who the CEO is)
Edwards frozen pies (bible verse on pie tin)
Desert Essence (beauty products)
Estes (aquarium stones)
Food for Life (baked goods)
Brim's Old South (chips and the like)
Daniel Chapter One (look at the mission statement at the bottom)
Curves (gyms, leaves bibles in workout areas)
Aldi Foods (has buybull verses on the inside of egg cartons)

Local
Carter Brothers Bar-B-Que North Carolina

Franchises (companies who don't seem to be religiously affiliated but might have franchisees who do)
Subway

If you know of any others, please send me a message giving me the name of the company and if possible a link to the company's website showing that they promote religious ideas.

For example http://www.incrediblepizza.com/about.php If you look at bullet number 3 under the mission statement. "We operate our business by Christian principles". The alternate of this would be if they have a religious symbol on their products and/or building. In the case of the pizza company, they have the jebus fish on the doors as you walk in.

Places to Avoid

So if you've noticed I added a section above my posts entitled "Places to Avoid". This is a section where I list businesses who feel it's better to sell you religion either out front or secretly instead of selling you a consumable product.

This list will be ever expanding and I am ALWAYS looking for additions to this. If enough people stop shopping at these places, we can send a message to these companies that selling their religion to their customers is NOT something we want.

So if you have any businesses to add, just reply to this message and let me know of the company, and if they have a website with the obvious references to religion on them.

Also, they are all xians so far, so if anyone comes by and thinks I'm singling out xians, you're dead wrong, that's just all I can find so far.

    Kyser is best known for their quick change capos. They have that awful symbol of death (the cross) on every capo and a bible verse on their packaging. Furthermore the Shubb Capo is much better for keeping your guitar in tune. Oh, I hope they don't promote religion as well. I love that Shubb Capo!

    Thanks for the info, I think Subway is a fundy supporter too, it is here where I live in jesusville. I don't eat there either...gaffaw..damned plastic sandwiches.

    I dug a little into that one and it looks like each franchise can do as it seems fit for support...which means the company isn't, but any franchisee can be religiously affiliated.

    I will still add it, but I'm going to make a special section for it.

    Hey yeah thanks, I believe you're right. The reason I said that was because, just the other day I was driving by a newly erected ball field and it had all the local businesses with their advertising banners firmly mounted all along the fence and it had a Subway sign on it and under the sign, instead of their usual logo "Eat Fresh" it had "Trust In Jesus" on it, I damned near wrecked...lol I'll be damned if I'll eat at their damned place again, the last time I ate there the food taste like pre-fab plastic anyway.

    When I finally shit, I had to pry the shit out my ass using the opposite end of a spoon that I found on the counter...lol

    Subway should have said use a damned spoon, or trust in spoons not jebus...lol

    Yeah, I don't eat Subway...there isn't one near my house. But, that's to bad they had that completely stupid saying on there...it almost makes me want to make my own banner that says something like "Trust in the Green Lantern"

    Hey, make believe is make believe...except the Green Lantern could kick a carpenters ass!
